National Assembly’s 2018 budget published [SEE DETAILS]
The National Assembly has published details of its budget for the year 2018.
This was disclosed on the official Twitter handle of the Office of the Senate President, Bukola Saraki, on Friday.
According to the tweet, the measure was to ensure accountability and transparency of the National Assembly.
The tweet reads: “Find the details of the 2018 Budget of the National Assembly here: (link: http://nass.gov.ng/document/download/10247)
“This is in accordance with the commitment of the leadership of the 8th @NASSNigeria to accountability and transparency. #OpenNASS.”
This is coming at a time when the Chairman of the Independent Corrupt Practices and other related Offences Commission (ICPC), Prof. Bolaji Owasanoye, urged the National Assembly to remove the secrecy surrounding its budget for the sake of transparency.
