1. INEC Announces Date For Kogi, Bayelsa Governorship Polls

The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has scheduled November 2, 2019, for the conduct of governorship elections in Kogi and Bayelsa States. INEC’s National Commissioner and Chairman, Voter Education and Information, Festus Okoye, announced this in a statement on Tuesday.

Police authorities in Nigeria have sent packing nine senior police officers and demoted six others for different cases of misconduct, Babanewsline has learned. South Korean striker Son Heung-min struck in the second half to give Tottenham a 1-0 win over Manchester City in the first leg of their Champions League quarter-final tie.
