I finally met the man of my dreams – he cooked me dinner, but then he made two strange requests … I knew it was over

DATE night can go both ways – either super great or terrible. And for one hopeful woman, things got really bizarre real quick.

A 37-year-old TikTok user who goes by @arieslips420 on the platform recounted a bad date she went on back in 2016.

After meeting a handsome stranger on Plenty of Fish and talking to him for several months, she decided to take the plunge and make the hour and a half drive down to his home.

And things actually started normally. He cooked her chicken for dinner, albeit freezer burned – but to the young woman, it was the effort that counted.

After dinner, her date excused himself to go clean up in the kitchen.

That was fine – except he was in the kitchen for two hours straight.

In the meantime, the woman fell asleep, but oddly woke up to the kitchen water running and her date still cleaning. Apparently, he had stayed up the entire night cleaning.

To her dismay, he made an odd request: "Could you try not to comb your hair over the sink, because I don't want to be up with the lint roller all night."

At that point, the annoyed woman knew it was time for her to leave and planned to make an excuse after they went out for breakfast.

Upon preparing to go out again, the woman's object of interest made his second odd request. He didn't have his car with him and wanted her to drive them to get breakfast.

She complied, and at breakfast, the woman's questionable Plenty of Fish match got annoyed because she asked for extra onions and peppers in her home fries.

At this point, in her mind, the man had multiple strikes against him.

Somehow after all the chaos, the woman agreed to go to Walmart with him.

Allegedly, he made yet another odd request: "Can you pay for my food? I know you get food stamps."

At this point, she was taken aback. "I don't fit the income guidelines for food stamps," she asserted during her storytime.

The woman didn't disclose how she managed to get out of the situation but she vowed to never go on another dating app ever again.

Following her posting her video, people in the comments section had some interesting takes.

"You spent the night with a stranger you met online. Chile please," one TikTok user stated.

Another exclaimed: "Waaaait hold up!! Cleaning alllll night?! In the kitchen??"

Another joked: "Strike two was already strike 10."
